Central European Adventure

All the beauty of Central Europe awaits you!

Students enroll in the Humanities for Central Europe course, which they take during the spring semester at WVU. Check out the course syllabus.

As part of the course, students venture to Central Europe during the week of spring break, where they visit many beautiful cities of Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary!

While in Europe, students will enjoy the beautiful alpine scenery and awe-inspiring architecture that the region has to offer. The adventure begins in Munich and then continues to Prague to see the Gothic and Baroque architecture of the Czech Republic.

Next, students will journey to Vienna to view the Hofburg Palace and a symphony performance at the State Opera. In Budapest, enjoy a traditional Hungarian dinner with singing and dancing and a cruise down the Danube River.

The trip will depart on Friday March 13, 2009 and return on Sunday March 22, 2009.
